From alpine lakes and mountains to fields and wildflowers, Snoqualmie pass is full of incredible places to have an adventure elopement. Let me be your guide and show you a few of my favorite places!

Snoqualmie Falls

From its rainbows to its moss-covered rocks, Snoqualmie falls is STUNNING. This waterfall is one of my favorites and offers such a gorgeous backdrop to any elopement! This waterfall looks great at any time of year and rarely gets any snow so it is a perfect location even for winter weddings that want to avoid the snow! Its only about 30 minutes from downtown Seattle, so its super convenient to pop over to the city after your elopement for a nice dinner! Also if you ever watched Twin Peaks, you will be giddy to get to elope next to these iconic falls!

Franklin Falls

Franklin Falls is a gorgeous waterfall and its so accessible! Its only a mile hike through a gorgeous forest to get to the stunning falls. Along the way you’ll see a bunch of mini falls and get to enjoy the river as you hike. This place can get busy on the weekends, so I would suggest having your adventure elopement there on a weekday or at sunrise!

Gold Creek Pond

And it even looks great in the snow too!!

Gold Creek Pond is a stunning little alpine lake, located at the top of snoqualmie pass! You can hike all of the way around the lake and enjoy the view of the mountains on all sides. In the winter, its a one mile hike to the lake, but its a cute little walk through the snow and literally flat so its super easy to do! Gold creek runs through the woods and its fun to get to explore the river as well! Your gold creek pond elopement willl be a thing of dreams!

Hyak

Hyak is such a gorgeous place with a stunning lake that is surrounded by tree stumps. The stumps are super fun to climb on and provide such a unique backdrop for your elopement! It looks super cute in the snow too, and the lake doesn’t usually freeze over and instead looks beautiful all year! This place is a 1/2 mile hike, but you can hike all the way around the lake as well if that was something you wanted to do during your adventure elopement!

Rattlesnake Lake

Rattlesnake lake is a super pretty lake at the foot of a mountain. You can hike up to Rattlesnake Ledge and look down at the lake as well! Its a 4 mile hike, but is totally worth it! The view of the lake from above is insane! The lake itself is super beautiful as well. Depending on the time of year, there are a ton of stumps that surround the lake and are super fun to explore. Your rattlesnake lake elopement will be STUNNING.

North Bend is gorgeous and looks up at the gorgeous Mt Si. this place gets amazing apline glow at sunset and the mountain literally turns bright pink and orange! Its so pretty. There is also tons of elk in North Bend and they often frequent the fields in the evening and its not uncommon to see a huge herd of the big guys! This place is super accessible and flat so its easy to bring your parents to if you want to have more elderly people at your elopement as well!
